Distressing Techniques
It is easy to change the look of paper, photos, chipboard, and pre-made embellishments using simple sanding techniques. Sanding creates the distressed look of wear and tear. Distressing can be done by using sandpaper, a sanding block or even an emery board. Just rub the object’s edges to wear it away.
The grain of sandpaper creates different distressed effect. Fine grain will gently distress whereas coarse grain sandpaper will give a more distressed look. Sand as little or as much as you want to create the desired distressed look. Sand carefully though as it is better to sand more than have the object rip. for more check out the Technique Thursday thread in our very own friendly neighborhood forum.

Catch you all soon
