Karen's Window Card - Spellbinders

At the moment there are some fantastic new spellbinders d-lites dies around.. These are in most cases a single smaller die, in some really fantastic designs.

Today I'd like to show you a quick card that I made using the Window One die.

To do this,  cut the window out ..  Secret Garden paper from the Prima Fairy rhymes collection.. I love the wood grain pattern on this piece..  then inked the edges and set it down on my card front where I wanted to place it, and drew some little marks inside the window openings.

I drew lines to join my small markings, and cut out the rectangular piece from my card front.

Then using a prima brick stamp,  randomly and lightly stamped bricks around the opening..

I then stuck my die cut piece in place on the card front.

and a piece of the reverse side of the Secret Garden paper to fill the window. I adhered this to the inside of the card front using foam tape to give it a little dimension.

Add in some stitching, fussy cut elements, flowers and sentiment, and tahh dahh.. all done..
